The face of a Mini Rex is thick and round. Its body is also rounded and compact. Though the Mini Rex’s name implies it’s fragile, the Mini Rex is a hardy little rabbit. It generally weighs about 3.5 to 4.5 pounds at most. The ears are short, straight and erect. The Mini Rex’s coat is short and stands straight up. You should not brush your Mini Rex unless it has matting in the fur.
The Mini Rex makes a great indoor pet. It is easily litter trained. It enjoys human contact and its plush fur makes it irresistible to touch. Mini Rex Rabbits come in a variety of colors. They live around 10 years, but only when well cared for.
