Brittania Petite

Petite is an excellent name to describe the Brittania Petite. This small rabbit breed is not expected to ever be more than 3 pounds (2.25 lbs. is ideal), but don’t let its small stature fool you. There is a lot of energy packed into this small package. Brittania Petites are known to be excitable and lively. They can be moody, as well. This rabbit breed is easily bored, always curious and needs a supply of toys and daily interaction with people to combat boredom. If a Brittania Petite is what you want, don’t be discouraged. The Brittania Petite can be a good pet if you are willing to train it with simple redirection when it gets into trouble. However, they are not recommended for families with small children or for those who are inexperienced in owning rabbits.

Brittania Petites are built with a long, slim arched back. They have short ears that stand erect and close together. They look taller than they are thanks to their long front legs. They have silky fur which comes in a variety of colors. Their eyes are pink. As far as grooming goes, The Brittania Petite is fairly low maintenance and easy to groom.
