Dwarf Hotot

04 February, 17:46, by admin

If you are looking for a neat rabbit that most people don’t have, consider the Dwarf Hotot. The Dwarf Hotot originates from Germany and, among rabbit breeds, is considered to be less common than most other breeds.

Dwarf Hotots make great household pets. These little rabbits like to be held and, with their soft fur, you’ll love holding them. They also like to play, which can be entertaining to children. Their demeanor is calm, making them ideal for a family. They are affectionate, loving, little rabbits that tend to be social and curious. Watch out for their independent personality, they are prone to find trouble.

Dwarf Hotots are small and compact rabbits. They have rounded heads and bodies with no visible neck. Even their eyes have a round shape with a distinctive black outline. Their ears are short and stand straight up. Sometimes the ears touch one another.  They average 2.5 to 3 pounds when fully grown. Their short coats are extremely soft and shiny. Part of their charm comes from the fact that they are almost always completely white.  Grooming is relatively easy; Dwarf Hotots only need a quick brush each week to remove the excess fur.
